The Wave Bar will display your friends' profile pictures at the top of the app, and when one of your friends is online, you can point them to them and invite them to chat with you, with this feature, Waves will now open social rooms instead of private rooms, so that the speakers' friends can join the conversation and the speakers can make ping test on friends.

There's also a new ping bar at the top of social rooms so you can quickly connect with friends.

The social media app recently introduced an in-room chat feature that allows users to communicate with each other via text messages during the live room, according to a report by IANS.

Regarding the new feature, Clubhouse reportedly said that the creators will have complete control over the chat within the room, they can turn off the chat at any time in the live room and they can also delete any message during the live room and even after the room ends.

"We hope this will make taking quick surveys or sourcing questions from the audience much easier, and taking engagement to the next level," the company said in a blog post.
