Every iPhone comes pre-loaded with the Photos app, where you can manage the photos and videos you've taken or downloaded, and photo albums are a good way to organize photos or videos from trips or events. It will be difficult.

 

According to business insider, if you sync your iPhone with iCloud or iTunes, some albums may not be able to be deleted, however, deleting user-created albums is much easier.


How to delete albums from iPhone in the Photos app


1. Open the Photos app: the icon that looks like a color wheel on your iPhone.

 

2. Click on Albums on the bar at the bottom.

 

3. Click on the “See All” option on the right of the screen in the “My Albums” section.

 

4. Next click Edit in the upper right.

 

5. Albums that you can delete should have an icon in the top left that looks like a red circle with a line on it, toggle or scroll to find the album you want to delete, then tap the red icon.

 

6. A menu should pop up at the bottom of the screen asking if you're sure you want to delete the album, if so, tap Delete album.

 

7. When you have finished deleting albums, tap Done at the top right of the screen.

 

Some third-party apps like Twitter and WhatsApp create albums in your Photos app whenever you allow them to access your photo library.

 

These albums contain anything you might have sent, picked up, or downloaded within the app, and you can delete these albums by following the same steps.


Why can't you delete some albums from iPhone?


If you sync your iPhone with iCloud or iTunes, you probably won't be able to delete some photo albums from your iOS system, and albums formatted by iPhone Photos app like Screenshots or Selfies can't be deleted.


However, if you created an album by pressing the + button and adding photos to it yourself, you can delete it.
