WhatsApp has unveiled a new tool called Communities, which allows you to send messages to several groups at once, where users will be able to put several group chats together under one topic and share updates with all of them, and in a blog to announce the update, WhatsApp explained, " Communities on WhatsApp will allow people to gather separate groups under one umbrella with a structure that works for them."

What is the new WhatsApp Communities feature and how can it be used?

According to the British newspaper, "Daily Mail", in this way people can receive updates sent to the entire community and easily organize small discussion groups about what interests them.

Communities will also have powerful new tools for admins, including advertising messages that are sent to everyone and controlling which groups can be included.

The Meta-owned messaging app said it would start rolling out the feature slowly and as a test, and Mark Zuckerberg, the platform's CEO, revealed that the change was a significant development for WhatsApp.

Also, the way it is used, the new tool will allow users to organize different group conversations together under one main topic, for example, their children's school or the street they live in, with community administrators able to share messages with everyone and control which groups can be included.

“We created WhatsApp Communities to make it easier to organize all your group chats and find information,” Zuckerberg said.

"You'll be able to bring different groups together in one community," Zuckerberg added. "For example, in addition to individual groups for different classes, you might have one inclusive community for parents in a school with a central place for ads and tools for administrators."
