PNC text message was sent from "3246-pnc-financial-serice..." and asks recipients to call a fake PNC Bank customer service telephone number 866-594-9267 because their accounts have been temporarily frozen.


It was being sent by scammers, to frighten and trick their potential victims into calling them. 

If called, Scammers will pretend to be a PNC Bank customer representative and attempt to trick potential victims into disclosing their credit card or banking information. 


If they receive the information, it will be used fraudulently.
