How to remove Silver Sparrow Malware form Apple mac M1

What's Silver Sparrow?

Silver Sparrow is compiled to run on Apple's M1 chips and forces infected Macs to scan the console once an hour as Red Canary Said before.

Due to the name "Silver Sparrow," the malicious package is said to take advantage of the JavaScript API installed for macOS to execute suspicious commands. After monitoring the malware for over a week, neither Red Canary nor his research partners noticed the final payload, so the exact threat the malware posed remains a mystery.

Researchers say: Although we haven't noticed Silver Sparrow offering additional malicious payloads yet, forward-looking M1 chip compatibility, global reach, relatively high infection rate, and operational maturity suggest the Silver Sparrow is a reasonably serious threat, and it is positioned consistently. Unique to deliver an impressive payload without warning.

According to data provided by Malwarebytes, "Silver Sparrow" has infected approximately 29,139 macOS systems in 153 countries as of February 17, including "large amounts of detection in the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, France and Germany". Red Canary did not specify how many of these M1 Macs, if any.

Once again, researchers have yet to find that the binary system does anything - but it is a looming threat.
