Like when you update your current Windows to Windows 10, you save all the old settings, files and programs until you return and use them in the new system without thinking of re-downloading and installing them.
All you need is a USB drive and internet availability.

How to download Windows 10 USB
1. Go to the Microsoft website and search and click on the "Download tool now" button.
2. The "MediaCreationTool.exe" file will start downloading, let it finish downloading and open it.
4. Choose "Create Installation media for another PC" and then click on "Next".
5. Uncheck the box next to "Use the recommended options for this PC".
6. Choose Edition and language and Architecture options are 64-bit (x64) and 32-bit (x86).
-And both versions of Windows 10 64-bit and 32-bit will be copied to the same USB drive- Click "Next".
7. Choose "USB Flash drive" and press the "Next" button.
8. Now is the time to connect the USB flash drive if you haven't connected it to the device.
Do that and click on "Refresh drive list"
You will see all available drives that you have entered.
Select the flash drive you want to install Windows 10 on and press "Next".
9. The download will start. Since it is a huge file it will take some time. Just be patient.
Try to stop any program that uses the Internet on your computer except (MediaCreationTool.exe).
10- After completion, click on "Finish".
Now that you have Windows 10 on the memory stick, you can now use it to install the Windows 10 operating system on the same computer or on a separate device.

You can start over, install the apps you need, and import files you've stored.
